About Mac Rees

Hi! My name is Mac Rees, and I’m proud to call Jonesboro, Arkansas home. I’m 24 years old and started my career in real estate in January 2025 with Halsey Thrasher Harpole Real Estate Group.

I’m the oldest of four kids, three boys and one girl (Mac, Miles, Mason, and MaryKate). I’ll let you guess which one’s the spoiled one!

I grew up in Woodsprings Estates before my family later moved out to the countryside of Terra Hills. I spent most of my school years at Brookland, but when I turned sixteen and got my first truck, my brother Miles and I started making the thirty-minute drive to Valley View High School. My family eventually moved into the district, and I graduated from Valley View in 2019.

After high school, I began college at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, before transferring back home to Arkansas State University. While at A-State, I joined the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance.

After graduation, I had the incredible opportunity to move to Vail, Colorado, where I worked as a concierge for the Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch. I spent my winters skiing and my summers fishing truly an unforgettable experience.


When I returned home to Jonesboro in late 2024, I decided it was time to build something of my own and pursue a career in real estate. I’m passionate about helping people find not just a house, but a place they can truly call home.
